Birchwood is looking for a Database/Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This position is responsible for achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction by supporting dealership needs and managing eMail and targeted marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and works with a great sense of initiative. Working in a fast-paced environment, the Database/Email Marketing Specialist collaborates with the internal resources of the Marketing team to plan, organize, strategize, execute and measure email and campaign marketing efforts across the entire organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dealerships to create, implement and provide insight on marketing strategies
• Managing timelines to ensure that all assignments stay on track and on time
• Analyzing data and making decisions generating excellent results
• Developing monthly reports based on key metrics
• Email marketing optimization – test message, view results, quality control
• Created targeted lists from the customer database, set up actions. Example email / text / call list
• Training dealerships and collaborating with the CRM performance manager to ensure proper use of CRM and clean data
• Manage database activity – tasks, automated tasks

Essential Skills / Details

• Support – high level of customer service
• Self starter with an ability to multitask and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in the Automotive Industry is an asset
• Education in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related studies is an asset
• Innovative thinker who is able to create new ideas for campaigns and marketing initiatives
• Experience working with email marketing and CRM experience a plus
• A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
• Comfortable leveraging technology for most day to day functions
• Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail
